How to Add Fading Effect to a Sound File


Please follow this manual to add fading effect to a sound file:

1. Download and install MP3 Music Editor software in your PC and double-click the desktop icon of the program to launch it.

2. Click the button "Open a new sound file" or press Ctrl+O to import the sound file.

3. Go to "Effects - Amplitude - Fade - Fade Custom" and the Fade window is activated. You can choose the fading effects of the Start and the End respectively in percent. You can add your commonly used setting to the presets list. When you finish setting, click "OK".

4. When process done, click "Play" or press Ctrl+P to listen. If you just want quickly process a file and you don't need any detailed setting, you can choose the part you want to process and simply click the buttons "Fades in over the selected region" or "Fades out over the selected region".
